SHA Pre-Assessment Clinic (PAC)

The Pre-Assessment Clinic (PAC) is located near the southern entrance facing Preston Avenue.The clinic provides comprehensive preoperative screening and assessment for surgical candidates to ensure the patient is optimized and ready for surgery. Multiple delivery platforms include in-person and virtual PAC’s.The multidisciplinary team in the clinic is comprised of nurses, unit assistants, registration clerks, scheduling clerks, nurse practitioners, physicians/surgeons, anesthetists, physiotherapists, and pharmacists.This approach helps to achieve the fundamental goal of expediting the diagnostic process and improving patient education, communication and understanding.
